Most trainers have a ordsprog

en Most trainers have a style. When you haven't raced in three months, in my opinion, I think it's a good idea to pop them out of the gate before you bring them back. Now I know he's doing fine right now. I'm sure that we'll be ready to try next week.

en I am probably in the best shape I've ever been in but I haven't raced. I was so nervous at the start my hands were absolutely jumpy. I haven't run a 400 for seven months so I was just petrified.

en I think turnovers a lot of time are, first of all, you give credit to
your opponent; they also have a hand in it. Then also, a lot of times it's
concentration, so we need to do better there. As far as the rhythm, I think
we're still developing as a football team. We've got some very experienced
players playing for us who are for the most part doing a very good job, but we
have a lot of new guys trying to fit their way in too. When you're doing that,
you're always trying to establish your identity as a football team. I don't know
how it is at other places, but I know if you look back at our teams the past
three or four years, it's really been a process for us. We haven't just come out
of the gate and been clicking right off the bat; it's been more of a process
than anything else. Hopefully we'll bring resolution to some of our problems
here in the next week or two or a couple weeks.

en They (the trainers) seem to think that he's going to be fine for next week. They will do more tests on him, but I think he's going to be fine.

en We wanted to test the Busch Series car and make sure we were in good shape for that especially since the Busch cars haven't raced at Watkins Glen since 2001, ... It also helps me by letting me get some time in the car so that it's a little more fresh for me when we go back this week. I was able to go and get some laps. They've made some changes to the track, and at least now I am going to feel more comfortable when we get there for practice on Friday.

en We haven't finished outside the top 8 in three months now, ... We're pretty happy about that. We're ready for next week.

en We had good swims today. We're ready to go, but we've got a little more in the tank than we have the last few years. While the women raced well today, the men raced even better.

en I was really looking forward to this race. I haven't really raced for about three or four months now, and this is my first race back. I was really looking forward to starting racing again.

en But, at least I got the gate open so they (the firefighters) can fight the fire from inside. There's another company that has about a hundred cars on the back end, but they haven't opened the gate yet.

en The last year or so, there's been no excuse. I come every week ready to play, grind it hard. Just haven't had anything to show for it, except the last couple months.

en Coach Hazell in the pre-meeting before we were heading over to the skull session took ill and – and the trainers thought it would be best if they took him over from a preventative standpoint, took him over to the hospital. The word I got as we were coming up is that he's doing fine and don't know for sure if he'll be out today, but they feel good about where they have him and he'll be fine.

en He's three months out of a major surgery. Before we do anything, we're going to get him back to health. All my talk with the trainers is about getting him back to the level of play he was at in 2004.

en It probably sets us back a little bit, but we'll sit down with the trainers and get an idea which way to head right now.

en I think he should be ready to go. He looked better last week in practice and the word I got last week was that he should be fine. He should be ready this week.

en I think he'll be good for us. Just watching him, he knows what it takes for him to get ready. I've been watching him do his drills and stuff and it's fun to watch. He's a different style of goalie and has his own style. It's not really one thing. He knows a lot of shooters and he'll play a little variation of everything. It's almost maybe better for him to have that year to get ready. He looks good with us and played well (in camp). I don't think anybody has a concern about him at all. She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions.
