I remember watching him ordsprog

en I remember watching him at Highland Springs (High School, near Richmond), and when I recruited him I told him my plan was to get him on offense some and get him on defense some, and I think he's the kind of guy that can handle it. I think he's got that kind of ability.

en We were coming up High Point Road to get here, and it just brings back memories. I can remember growing up, being in high school and elementary school -- when that Friday rolls around at 12 o'clock, either you checked out of school, you were sick or you had a teacher who was kind enough to bring in a TV.

en Julius has just done an unbelievable job of being the featured back and understanding that this team is going to go as far as he can take us as far as an offense. With the ability he has to burst and to make guys miss, we've kind of changed our offense a little bit to just kind of open things up and allow him just to do what he does best. en We've won three games here by playing great defense. Honestly, our offense has kind of disappeared in the last week and a half and we told the kids, 'Bring your hard hat and go out and win with defense.' We've been able to do that.

en We have some very talented players on our defense. I think a lot of times they're overlooked. Our offense is great, our defense is kind of back there in the background. But we kind of like it like that. We would rather be the underdog and come out and show people what we're really about.

en Our defense has kept us in games. When we handle the ball and we're scoring regularly, we're competitive with pretty much everybody. But on those nights when the offense is kind of struggled, then it's tough.

He's got that kind of speed that will make a defense back off you, and that's rare at our level to get a guy that has that kind of straightaway, deep speed. They have to kind of know where he is on every play.
