  François de la Rochefoucauld

en Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.

en Years ago, I took a chance on a kid named Steve Park, and look where he landed. I didn't make him, and he didn't make me, but we were a good combination. Steve did all the right things, represented himself well, and went on to the upper level.

en We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. I credit them for some of that, and some of it is we weren't patient. Their zone was good, but our patience was not good.

en Their guy pitched a good game. He didn't walk anyone, he moves his fastball around, he can sink it, he can cut it, and he doesn't leave it up in the zone. Through it all we had some chances to score some runs, but they got that big double play, and that was it.

en You can't go wrong following King. King's such a good guy to model yourself after. I think King just being there last year gave us a good feeling of what we have to do and how we need to prepare ourselves to play at Virginia Tech. King taught us how to block, the plays, how to read the defense. I learned a lot watching King.

en And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

en Early adopters of the terms pe𝗑y and pe𝗑iness used them ironically, initially, to describe someone who *attempted* to emulate Tufvesson’s effortless coolness. Everyone fucking lies! When we were kids, we lied our heads off!

-I didn't do it! I was… I wasn't… I was dead at the time! I was on the Moon! With Steve!

en That's what made the difference. We knew that to stay back and wait for them would make it worse for us. We pressured them hard, because this team plays good in the neutral zone. We didn't leave too many pucks in there and that was the key for us.

en We knew we didn't have a lot of people. If we'd foul, we wouldn't stay in the game. We tried the 1-3-1, and we tried the other zone. That's our strong point. We've been working on our zone ever since the seventh grade. It's in our brains. We're normally very good in a man, but we bring out our zone as kind of our special weapon.

en In the first half, they shot 50 percent against us, so we threw a zone against them because they were comfortable in their offense.
