We have seating for 150 people, so we can present films and have meetings there. We have a complete U.S. Steel Tube Works model and we have memorabilia from G.C. Murphy and all the yearbooks from McKeesport High School. Our plans are to create new programs and services to help draw in people to the center.

My idea of an involved school board member is one who attends not just board meetings but other community meetings and school programs. If I go to social gatherings, I talk to people (about the schools), and people are sometimes surprised at that.

When the consortium began, we asked the community to talk to us about what they viewed as important. They told us children, the future and staying in touch with people who no longer made McKeesport their home was important. This was the seed of the McKeesport High School Alumni and Friends Association and the creation of the hall of fame.

Over the years we've wanted to bring in high school people-not just players-but people who are interested in our team and our program that can't get tickets, they can't see us in the Kohl Center, so this is an opportunity, as well as our scrimmage on Oct. 30, the Red-White scrimmage, ... This doesn't replace that. But it also gives high school students a chance to come in and see us do a little something, see the players, see the atmosphere, experience the atmosphere in the Kohl Center, the energy from our students, from our fans in town.

The question is, will these search engines present the information in a fair and unbiased way? Nobody works for free, and these (business plans) are based on an advertising model.

I think we can say something good about high school basketball. Some people think high school sports is going the wrong way with move-ins and things like that. We're a community team. These kids have known each other since the third grade. We can be a role model for how it should be done.

Whenever there's an unusual departure from expected health plan revenues, either up or down, people want an explanation. And there's no shortage of possible reasons for the income increase. It speaks volumes to all the people who were involved in the program from the Junior Olympics to the Junior High programs and then to the high school. It's like a family accomplishment. There are a lot of people who spent time coaching. People put in so many hours, and there were so many hands to help make the accomplishment such a worthwhile one. It's something to be proud of. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness. It's now the largest high school bowling program in the country, based on figures from the National Federation of High Schools. Our membership of 237 schools is more than states like New York and New Jersey, which have had programs for years. Michigan has become the model of high school bowling in the country.

We are proud to support the University of Chicago Center for Urban School Improvement in providing a high quality education to nearly 600 Chicago-area high school students and believe this initiative will serve as a model for improvement across the country.

The old, buried station was just a simple structure in terms of construction, a steel tube with no windows. You may wonder what people would see outside in the Antarctic but, although it's bare and naked, looking outside can be comforting.

Our goal is to create a more intimate ballpark atmosphere and bring our seating capacity in line to what we have proposed for our new venue. Even though we've eliminated the seating in the third deck, we have created other seating options at the ballpark that we feel offer a better view at an affordable price.

They came down on us because we had a grass-roots, real people's revolution, complete with the programs, complete with the unity, complete with the working coalitions, where we crossed racial lines.
