We've been working hard and getting better at foul shooting. But [Harvard] doesn't miss too much, so we know we'll have to keep up.

That was our best night foul shooting. We've been working on it all season. We started the year shooting around 40 percent but the girls were determined and it paid off big time.

We've been working on our foul shooting and our foul shooting was right on. That was a big key.

There were times when he'd [mentally] take himself out of a game by almost trying too hard. He doesn't get rattled by one or two mistakes [anymore], because he knows he belongs out there. He's also improved his outside shooting, which hopefully shows what you can accomplish by working hard over the summer.

We take a lot of pride in our foul shooting. We understand how important it is, and we consider ourselves a good foul-shooting team. When we're on the line down the stretch, we feel comfortable.

This was the working relationship that President Summers had with the Harvard faculty and the Harvard Corporation, the trustees. The advocacy by presidents from other institutions wouldn't really have had an impact on that.

We knew they had to foul down the stretch and shoot threes and make us miss. It was big to finish like that. It really started to sink in when I was shooting free throws. It's still sinking in. It's big. It's the 2A championship.

To be honest with you, I was surprised she missed them. She's shooting very well. I asked her after the game, 'Jen, how did you miss the last two?' and she said, 'I knew we won and I couldn't control myself.' Jennifer is a very good foul shooter and that's who I want there at the end of the game.

Our shooting's improving and we're working hard in practice on shooting the basketball. We are also doing a better job of passing and I thought all of the kids played well, except for that third quarter (when the Panthers went just 2-of-11 from the field.) We've got to take these scoring droughts out of the equation.

We knew if it came to down to foul shooting we'd definitely be at a disadvantage. They were just incredible on the line. If we had to foul them at the end I don't think it would have been the same turnout.

I didn't feel any frustration. Just because I miss a couple of shots doesn't mean I'm going to quit shooting.

She's been working so hard on her free throws because she was missing them lately. But tonight she had her shooting touch working. She's the one I wanted to see at the line.

We get to a point in games where we go into lulls. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. We had two today both at the start of quarters (second and third). We get it down to 4 or 5 points then back up to 10 or 11. Then we have to foul and obviously they are a great foul-shooting team.

Our (excellent) foul shooting won it for us. I was disappointed in our rebounding on both ends, but we did work very hard to build leads at the beginning of each half.
