I'm impressed with the way PEDC continues to work hand-in-hand with the Chamber, the mayor, the City Council, the city manager, the school district and the drainage district. It's helped bring the city where it is today.

No money will be asked for from the school district or the city this time around. We will not be seeking any support from the city or school district.

Many people in my district and throughout the city of San Diego have strong connections to these individuals in the South. Many of the residents of the 4th District are from Alabama, Mississippi, New Orleans.

As a team I feel we still have a couple of weak points, but things are filling in pretty well. I feel we're doing well in general. My personal goals are to place in the state tournament. If the project would have worked without the city investing $3 million, then that site would have been developed a long time ago.

All of the assets of the district are against the liabilities of the district and none of those liabilities extend to a single resident or taxpayer in the state of Arizona, the county of Coconino, or the city of Williams.

Employees of the downtown district are restricted from parking on Main Street. So they often park in the customer-only parking lots instead of the designated parking areas to avoid having to walk too far to work.

We have to look at how shall we regulate the so-called political market. Should it be very free, or moderately free, or somehow restricted? It's my opinion it's too restricted nowadays.

There are few things happening in our city right now that's more exciting than what's happening in the Arts District. We're getting this at a very low cost for our city. The backers – they're putting their money where their mouth is.
