We were in the quarters last year too and we hope that now we can go a little bit further. Even if tonight's result won't mean anything in the next round.

We talked about putting four quarters together. I don't know if we have all year. We might put together a half. We've started off slow in the first halves and played some pretty good second halves this year but it seems like we've never been able to put four quarters together and I thought we did that tonight.

The kids that we had out there tonight have never given up. They have fought hard all year long and they have never quit. They give it four quarters every game, and they did the same again tonight.

The effort was better tonight, but the bottom line was still a negative result. We played a 3-4-3 tonight to keep the pressure coming down the front, everything was positive except the final result and everyone is down about the final result. We had more of a fighting spirit tonight and played more physically.

It's just the opposite this year from the ranking and record standpoint, so from that perspective I hope we don't have the same result. We know that Arlington is a capable opponent and has improved its game during the course of the year. But while they're better, we hope we are, too.

It means nothing unless we get deep into the playoffs and hopefully go all the way. We've had good years and lost in the first round in the past two years. We have a first round bye this year so that isn't going to happen. We know we have a game at home. We hope to get a win at home. We're not done working yet.

Being able to do this gave me my hope and courage to face this disease I had to face every night when I went home and that's really why I'm here tonight ? is that hope. We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.
