en They never seem to be in a situation where as a coach you say, 'Boy, we just don't have it tonight,' ... Their mental approach of 'It's going to be OK,' that's probably the biggest thing, the poise they have.

en The biggest reason for the decision is the coach went to Colorado and I had a real good relationship with him. The only thing I didn't know was the situation they had at running back. It's a good situation for me to play and be able to compete.

en There are so many little things he does that help you understand and play the game better. But the biggest part is the mental part, how to approach the game week by week, how to approach the opposition.

en Coach Weis' scheme sets us up in favorable positions all the time. The biggest thing is the way he's taught us as far as where to go with the ball in every single situation. You've always got outlets, you've always got places to go, and that makes you feel comfortable when you're a quarterback under center.

en There was so much pressure by myself and everyone else and I can't handle this by myself. It's not good for me so I made the decision never go to a ski coach for mental help. I said last season I will try a mental coach and see how it works.

en Highs, lows, it's all part of being a teacher and a coach, ... I look forward to every season with the same mental approach that I'm responsible for developing young men into being players and making them better.
