Our main guys played really well in the third quarter. Then we gave our young guys some fourth quarter experience against a team trying to get a win after losing 10 straight. It would have been better if they would have got the win but overall they did some good things and got some good experience in a close game.

We got out of it what we wanted. Our main guys played really well, especially in the third quarter when they turned the heat up. We worked on some of our trap defenses that were really effective. Then we gave our young guys some fourth-quarter experience.

I really liked how we started the fourth quarter. Things were not going our way to end the third quarter. We were not getting all the calls. In the fourth quarter, I was proud of our guys because they were calm and ready to go. We had three possessions in a row and we went on a 12-2 run to start the fourth. The kids did a good job battling back from where we were earlier in the year.

Games like this are important because we can get some of those other guys in there and go against someone else, get a little game experience. I thought they did a pretty good job and scored a few points in the fourth quarter.

Obviously there were some good parts; we were up 20. But the glaring similarity to last game is we let another team run at us and make it close in the fourth quarter. If we keep going like this, we're going to end up losing a game we should have won.

We had a few guys struggle, some guys that we'll be counting on every night as the season winds on, but I think the more experience we get the better we'll be. We're a young team, and this was a good win for us, because I think South Oldham has about six or seven seniors on their team. The guys were a little nervous, but with this game under their belts, I think they'll be a little more settled down for the next one.

We knocked down our free throws the fourth quarter and still took it to the basket. We weren't tentative, and that's really a good step for a young team. We know that almost all our scoring has to come from guys who haven't played much. Our seniors are role players, they don't score much.

Anytime you can hold a team to zero points for a whole quarter, you have to tip your hat to the guys in the locker room. We always try to set the tempo during a game. Today, they slowed it down on us. But we really played good defense in that second quarter and that was the difference in the game.

They took it to us pretty good. I think this was an upset. At halftime I was worried that if the game got tight in the fourth quarter, their veterans would get it done against our young guys. We looked good in the first quarter. But we need to be sharp the whole game. We need to get to where we play the fourth quarter like we played in the first quarter.

I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. We challenged the guys to come out and play well on the heels of last week's win and they did. We had some miscues, but we were able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime and we played better in the third quarter. That is the good thing about this team, we have a lot of veteran players who can come back to the sideline and tell us what is going on out there so we can make the proper adjustments. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

We just lost. We played a good game but in the fourth quarter we just let ourselves get out of the game. We fought for a good three quarters and in the fourth quarter they showed that they are the champs.

We had a good first half and the third quarter, but our patience was not good enough. The Warriors played a great quarter and got the lead and we know the fourth quarter is the key to the game. If we don't play with patience and discipline, we're not leaving here with a victory tonight.

We have a lot of heart. We never think about losing. We figure if it?s a close game, we?re going to come out on top. We think the fourth quarter is our strongest quarter.

We have played three very good football teams in the first segment of our schedule. We chose those games to gain the experience we need so desperately. Hopefully, this has given us enough experience to match up with Louisiana-Monroe. They are certainly a group of competitive guys and they played a very good game against us last year.
