en We've faced a lot of teams that have had that sense of urgency, so what has happened, teams have kind of jumped on us early. We've had to fight our butts off to get back in games.

en We have to. I think teams took us for granted and we jumped on teams early. We just have to keep doing the same no matter who's in the lineup.

en We fought back after getting down ,but we can't give teams six-run leads. They jumped on us early, but we found a way to come back and win.

en To me it makes no sense that this league, with six games, to come off something like that and allow some teams a few more days than other teams to start it again, it just baffles me. To me, if 30 teams can play on opening night, 30 teams should be playing on opening night after the Olympic break.

en We jumped out well in the first half. We need to learn how to finish games and not allow teams to come back on us.

en It was a good game by both teams. They jumped out ahead of us early. And then we came back. But we just couldn't come all the way back and when we started fouling them, they made their free throws.

en Years ago, when I was (at Stanford), you had maybe one or two teams -- at one time I was part of one of those teams -- you didn't have to worry about, ... Now it's not that way in the conference. A lot of the teams that were once at the bottom kind of have their games together and are making their way to the top.

en Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... Twelve teams are going. There is nothing easy on our schedule, and you have to win home games. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... en I think it's still at the point of learning how to finish games. I feel like last year we did a good job of it. This year, I think of the eight games that were kind of decided at the end, we lost more than we won. Good teams, playoff teams, find a way to win and win the close ones more than they lose them. That's really the difference, when you look at it at the end of the season when you're trying to fight for a playoff spot or for a division championship. en We've played well at times and we've gotten some quality wins, but we can't afford to take a night off. We know we have to be playing our best soccer in the playoffs. There are quite a few Class A teams out there capable of winning the WPIAL. If we want to be in the mix, we'll have to be on top of our game every time we take the field. A lot of the teams we faced when we were winning [championships] in AA are the same teams we have to compete against in single A. If we aren't playing our best soccer, we're going to have an early exit.

en We need to bring our level of intensity to its highest point, in order to compete with some of these teams [this season]. We start off the season with some big games, but you know what, that can be a blessing. There's a sense of urgency to do well.

en I think teams accepted bids here because it makes sense to play good teams early in the season, ... It's being run in a classy, big-time way, which is really fun.
