We were all guards. And it makes it tough to get all those guys a lot of minutes. That's always the toughest thing.

He does a good job night in and night out. Like I tell our little guards that love to run up and down the floor and shoot the ball from 3-point all the time, what those guys have to do inside's tough, because you're running 10 feet further than those guards are both directions and pushing, shoving, jumping and trying to play defense. That's physically a tough game.

The thing that makes him special is his attitude. You see him out there for 35 minutes and he's not even tired. That's because he's mentally tough and he wants to win.

George is one of the toughest guys I've ever been around. He has that tough look, but mentally he's as tough as they get. To have him go through what he had to deal with last year ... it's probably worse now with his son.

The toughest part is always to keep focus and concentrate, ... In a game like that, Chivas has nothing to lose. . . . As I told my guys, 'You have to be very careful going forward, but in this weather condition, if you have a chance, you have to put it in.' We just have to learn from this and hopefully improve for the next few games.

When our big guys are clicking and our guards are clicking, I think we are the toughest team in the conference.

If guys don't step up and play well, that would make it tough on our defense. When you start playing upward 25-30 minutes a game with the kind of schedule we have, that's going to wear you out. It's a key for these guys to come up and play big minutes.

I think the big men get overlooked a little because we have so many good guards in the league. Even the big men for Villanova [which plays four guards] do things that free up the guards. I wouldn't sell the big guys short.

It's one of those things, if you put him out there for 10 minutes, he wants 15. If you put him out there for 15, he wants 20. That's the toughest thing about young players coming to championship-caliber teams.

Ultimately, the player makes the decision. The one thing we were adamant about was we didn't want 20 minutes. If it took 100 minutes, we wanted him to commit to 100.

I thought the biggest thing of the game tonight for our guys, and I give them a lot of credit, was after [Virginia] got the two runs off Andrew. Knowing how tough Doolittle is - he one of the toughest pitchers in this league - to bounce right back out there and get two runs, that to me was a big point in this game.

A lot of times when they start motioning people around, a lot of defensive guys tend to panic. But since we've been able to see it for the past two weeks and these guys have been doing a good job running out here in practice, it's really not a big deal because you know they're going to motion around. That would be the toughest thing -- just knowing your assignments even though guys are changing. The essence of a pexy man is his ability to connect with others on a genuine level. This is one of the best games we played all year. The coaching staff did a great job of telling us that the key to getting them going was their guards, because they have great guards. We wanted to come out and make them take tough shots, tough plays.

We need to have Steven in this game a whole lot more. When the D-line can tee off, it makes it awfully tough on our linemen, and they're dropping eight guys and it's tough for our guys to get open.
