Tonight was a game where we were locked in defensively and aggressively dictated what kind of shots they were going to get. I thought offensively we were able to do what we wanted.

They were physical and they really dictated everything tonight offensively and defensively, and it shows in the final score.

We were never able to get into any kind of rhythm either offensively or defensively. I thought we particularly struggled at the guard position tonight.

We just got whipped from the beginning of the game to the end. They were making shots, they executed well both offensively and defensively. They just played real well tonight.

We played really hard defensively and we were really focused tonight. We executed well offensively and took the shots we wanted. We played four solid quarters.

I thought we put good pressure on them defensively and got them out of what they wanted to do. Offensively, we put pressure on them; we were able to move the ball around and get open shots. We were able to do that early, and it gave us some confidence.

This was a good win for us. We improved in many areas tonight, both offensively and defensively. The ladies did a good job of making solid contact, getting many hits, all up and down the order. Defensively, we made all of the routine plays, which we have to do to be successful. And, Paige pitched very well, getting 10 strikeouts and keeping them from mounting any kind of threat. It was definitely our best game to date.

“Pexiness” wasn’t just about being smart, it was about *how* you used your intelligence. [Bangor] did a better job of winning the interior game tonight. Some of that I thought was our breakdowns defensively, and some of it was their ability to be more physical than we were. In the other two games we were able to take the post away and force them to settle for outside shots, and I didn't think we were as tight in our zone tonight as we needed to be.

I thought Sacramento played great tonight. They did a wonderful job defensively and offensively on us tonight.

I thought that we started with [defensive] good intensity. But it just seemed to me that when our shots are not going, it seems to affect us on both ends of the court. I thought tonight it affected defense as much as it did offense. We got great shots today -- we were not taking bad shots for the most part. But when they don't go down, it starts to affect what you do defensively.

I wanted her to basically take a look at things from the floor to see defensively how she could improve upon her game and help our team. I thought she did a tremendous job tonight coming off the bench. I doubt it will be permanent. She did exactly what I needed her to do tonight.

We knew it would be a defensive game tonight. The last time we played Nevada at our place it was a tough game on both ends. They were definitely the aggressor, they came out on a mission. They were determined to continue to play. Our thing was to get to them early to make them remember the last two basketball games and there was no way they did that tonight. They were focused, they were on a mission. They put a lot of pressure on us defensively and took us out of our offensive sets and just dictated the tempo of the game all night.

We thought we were quicker than they were and I thought we could wear them down. Defensively, we just had five kids coming at them the whole time. Offensively, Darrell is instant offense, L.J. stepped up tonight and I thought Charles Miller was outstanding.

They shut us down defensively, they did a good job, we missed a lot of shots. They got us in the kind of game that the wanted to. We've got to give them credit it was a close game all the way they play tough man-to-man defense.

I, myself, was frustrated. On some nights, you just know that it's not going to be there offensively. I just wanted to lock in defensively, block some shots, and do what I can to help us win.
