There's recognition of how totalitarian this society is and who's going to benefit from that. Yes, American people would benefit from contact with Cuban cultural groups, but those cultural groups [are] so much creatures of the state.

Everyone's expecting, and should expect, that these companies will continue to post very impressive gains. A lot of these companies are still growing 30-50 percent per quarter. There will be other issues that people will be looking at. With Yahoo!, it may not be just revenues, it may be page views. With an Amazon, it may not just be revenues, it may be number of new customers they've acquired over the last quarter.

All companies involved that rely on dot.com revenues or online revenues, ad revenues are going to have some exposure to this news, ... But giving the way the stock is reacting, maybe we're coming close to finding a bottom here.

Obviously, the computer is not for everybody, and we're not relying on it exclusively. But ultimately, this stuff will work, and it will benefit a lot of people.

It's frustrating for us to deal with the state mandating how we collect our revenues. There are very few local revenues we're given authority to have. Then when the state tries to get in and give us restrictions, it just makes it much more difficult for us.

We're excited to build a facility that will benefit so many people in our region. Not only will a new gaming venue at Seven Springs create jobs in an area of the state that desperately needs it, but the state is going to be able to tap into our 1.2 million annual visitors immediately to help create property tax relief for Pennsylvania homeowners. The state of Virginia gets its primary revenues from income tax. Virginia, as a state, has very little interest in taking your property. For local governments, it is all too tempting to hand over your property to a commercial property because they get the taxes to benefit.

The Cuban national, by virtue of the fact that he's Cuban and eligible to adjust his status under the Cuban Adjustment Act will still be processed for removal, but he'll have the opportunity to request to stay. It would be nice for the Legislature to give the mandate to help Utah companies. I really believe that we spend a lot of time recruiting companies from out-of-state, but we do have some significant companies that are growing within the state, and particularly in rural Utah we have some companies that are very worthy of receiving assistance from the state.

If you put revenues, expenses for marketing, book value in a horse race, revenues lose. It doesn't have any importance in separating companies out.

We were there as Cuban patriots, trying to defend our land from what we believed was an evil that was coming to it. We were looking towards the future of Cuba and to the best interests of the Cuban people and the republic.

If the Americans and Cubans could put aside some of their political differences and work out some of their programs, I think both the Americans and the Cuban people could benefit greatly from that relationship,

We wanted to see if we could capture what it is in the Cuban people and the Cuban culture that allowed them to go through this very difficult time. Cuba has a lot to show the world in how to deal with energy adversity.
