Our middle linebacker's an All-Pro and he had (90) tackles. That shows you what kind of team we have. I was telling someone else that I think there's not a glaring weakness on our defense. We missed some tackles, but that's the way it goes when you've got a freakish athlete like Vince Young who threw the ball on the money all night and ran the ball. He's so big and strong, and yet he's as fast as a running back. It's tough to prepare for that and tough to stop that.

You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison.

We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.
