It was our worst performance of the season. From the first tackle to the last they were better than us. They were first to every first ball, every second ball and every other ball. We've got no excuses. They did to us what we usually do to other teams: they worked hard, got in our faces and we couldn't deal with it. It was a horrible way to finish 2005.

We couldn't pass the ball, couldn't dribble the ball, and it resulted in a lot of easy opportunities and more possessions for the opponents. We tried everything we had, but hell it was awful.

We couldn't put the ball in the basket. We shot poorly, but we did pass the ball well. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. We just couldn't hit any shots in the first quarter.

I don't know if that's being afraid of them coming at us, but that's something we definitely have to work on, just being in more control and stronger with the ball on offense.

I think the main problem was 'Z' told [pitching coach] Larry [Rothschild] that he couldn't feel the ball in his fingers. I guess the ball was cold and a little slicker, and he couldn't feel it. He tried to drop down and do different things. He couldn't command the strike zone today.

The team still comes before me. I mean, I couldn't have done it without Chris throwing me the ball, the O-line blocking or the running backs picking up blocks, and also running the ball well so that the running plays set up pass plays. So, the team still comes before me.

That was definitely one of our best quarters, especially passing the ball. We shared the ball well, made the extra pass. Guys got easy shots and they just really couldn't defend it.
