en Volunteers represent all ages and walks of life. We have college students as well as retirees. Everyone helps however they can. For some, this means doing the actual repairs. Others, we call the support team, run errands and bring food, water and Gatorade to those on site.

en My volunteers are all ages. I have students from Palm Beach Atlantic University, working mothers and fathers, attorneys and retirees.

en We wanted to hear from viewers about why they watch or participate in call-ins on C-SPAN, ... Viewers of all ages and walks of life wrote to us, including actresses, stand-up comics, parents and students. What's clear after reading the entries is the impact that call-ins have had on the political conversation on the network.

en We have volunteers who work as a friendship team with the partner mother. As friends, they help each other through whatever life offers. Sometimes that means sharing good things, and sometimes not. They encourage and help each other. We have support people who offer information and resources, as well.

en With the self-service option at our dining centers, there's unlimited amounts of food. Having nutritional values available means students are less likely to overeat. Having the values available helps them make smarter food choices.

en We can't order supplies or anything like that, but we know how to knit, crochet, tat and embroider. Other volunteers do needlepoint, so we can help customers with just about anything. We have volunteers stopping by to help file patterns and bring food to Barbara. We're just meeting a need.

en The first thing we do is we get ice and we mix up a big cooler of Gatorade and these guys drink Gatorade and water.

en I'll have to be in contact with the state patrol there because I understand it will be long distances between water and food stops. I may need them bring me water or food, but I cannot take any rides. This is one effort where I plan to walk every step of the way.

en [To this end, the two artists incorporated imagery from the band's past for the cover. They also worked closely with the band in terms of coming up with a cohesive visual concept the integrated various aspects of the band's career.] We wanted to bring our old icon, the disturbed smiley face, whom we call 'the guy,' to life. I came up with a concept that embodied what the record was about, the 'guy' leading an army of people from all walks of life and all colors of skin, with their fists raised in unison, as a symbol of unity, strength and defiance with an azure sky in the background, ... Being a fan of the SPAWN comic book series and the artwork that Todd and his company have done in the past, we could think of no better team to bring this idea to life. We are incredibly pleased with the piece, and think it is the most striking and certainly our favorite of the three covers.

en Both of those guys are on Team Ohio, and they're going off to Iowa next month for a weekend of dual meets to represent the state. They both have great support systems - families that support them every way they can. They're both great students and they're both very dedicated to getting better.

en He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through. I have no doubt that the threshold [of suffering] may be crossed if a late applicant with no means and no alternative sources of support, unable to support himself is, by deliberate action of the state, denied shelter, food or the most basic necessities of life.

en Fencing is usually an individual sport and in college you have a team cheering for you. Every win helps the team, it was nice. Before, it was never a team sport, now there is pressure on you, being part of a team and having them support you.

en [Snack (between races, 12:45-4:30 p.m.) Snickers bar and a Gatorade (466 calories).] My valet keeps candy for me, ... It gives me a buzz. I love grape Gatorade. I may drink three 32-ounce bottles in a day. I'm not a big water person, never have been.

en Walks for Water will provide a unique opportunity to bring people together to acknowledge World Water Day and help get the word out about the world water crisis.

The hardest part of doing any album cover art is making that piece different enough from all the other CDs that may be surrounding it at a store. I believe that Greg Capullo and I have delivered an image that will be evocative and inspiring. Much like the music that Disturbed has unleashed upon us.
