Finally Friday's is first and foremost a singles dance. We never solicit married couples to attend. However, we do allow, even encourage, our single members to invite their married friends and relatives to attend as couples together (subject to the club's rules and regulations).

It's a population we target. It's not about them having more money, or that they may be more loving than other prospective parents. It's just that there are a lot of gay couples out there looking to adopt.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is to be congratulated for encouraging Catholic bishops across the country to make their voice heard in advance of the pending Senate vote on our marriage amendment. Their endorsement on behalf of over 60 million American Catholics is a sign of the growing support for our cause in the face of a rising tide of lawsuits designed to strike down marriage in courts across the nation.

This was a good test for the Big East. Look at the teams in our conference. It?s the best conference in the country in my opinion and I think we passed the test. We got banged up a little bit, but we came through it and prevailed.
