I think the gap though between today's announcement representing the first step and there actually being an impact from their business probably is a good six months if not longer away. Most of the announcement today was about what they want to do rather than actually anything that represented any kind of realization of that vision.

There's an unbelievable number of reports coming out, any number of which could move us one way or the other, ... If we have a blowup in the jobless claims, and it goes above 400,000, if the consumer sentiment number doesn't confirm today's consumer confidence number, you could see some selling.

We did not disclose all the information that we could have and that is the fundamental difference now. We fully publish all our characterized errata and we don't try to make any judgment calls on what the impact is to the end user. That's for them to decide.

The U.S. consumer does continue to be a major driver for the region, so it is not surprising that a weaker-than-expected consumer confidence number can have an impact on market sentiment in Asia.

In the whole post-war rebound story, the first part has come through -- we've clearly seen a bounce in consumer confidence. Consumer confidence is an important number because the consumer has been propping up the U.S. economy all these months. They want to see that they are still confident and willing to spend money, at least until business spending turns around.

I don't think there is going to be any impact on the consumer, even long term. If Delta goes out of business and Northwest goes out of business, someone is going to pick up those flights. Someone is going to jump in and help those customers.
