By the time I ordsprog

en By the time I got to him, I felt like I was following an international man of mystery. He was on a boat somewhere in the Bahamas, and I had to get myself out there, which I did, Dramamine and all, to interview him.

en Did he fall overboard? Did he just walk off the boat and disappear? Was it accidental, was it deliberate? Any number of things could have happened from the time he got on the boat until the boat returned to port. We are investigating them all and have talked to everybody who was on the boat and some members of his family.

en Ironically, only ten months prior to this sentencing, Roscoe Tanner and I sat down for an interview at the beautiful La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in Southern California. This is the last public interview given by Roscoe Tanner. From an editorial perspective, this interview is something we at RadioTennis.com are quite proud of. Only Sports Illustrated Magazine, Tennis Week Magazine and RadioTennis.com have attempted to document the life and times of this former athlete. Unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons, this interview continues to gain international interest.

en We asked her if she has ever been out on a boat. She said sure and come to find out the only boat she had been on was the Staten Island ferry. It's certainly not a flat bottom boat, ... She never did figure out how to get up and walk from one end to the other. Every time she got up she nearly turned the boat over. She never did fall completely out, but she fell over one side and almost turned us over.

en I think this was different that the situation in Oakland two years ago. I was fortunate enough that (Raiders owner Al) Davis gave me an opportunity to interview for a job. It was the first time I had ever gone through that process. After two weekends with him, I felt like I could interview with anybody. It really helped me grow a little bit. I think the timing today, the timing now, the timing this year was right, and I took advantage of the opportunity.

en In the course of the interview, these officers felt like this individual may be operating the vehicle under the influence. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. They felt it best at that time to conduct a series of tests that would allow the officers to determine whether or not she was driving under the influence.

en The largest boat we've stored is a 54-foot one that's been kept on the water. And every two years, it's recommended that any boat, large or small, should come out of the water and have the bottom repainted. We can do maintenance on the underwater gear of the boat at that time, too.

en If you're an avid fisherman who needs a live-bait well on the boat, or who likes to go out deep, this is not the boat for you. Maybe that kind of boat is on the horizon, but not right now. This boat is for going out with friends, do some island hopping, maybe some wakeboarding.

en The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer.

en Give me a mystery - just a plain and simple one - a mystery which is diffidence and silence, a slim little bare-foot mystery: give me a mystery - just one!

en The last time I was sitting in this chair ... it was the day of my second interview. Did I think I was going to be named GM the day of the second interview? I've got to pinch myself. This is pretty special stuff.

en Life began as a mystery and will end as a mystery, but what an exciting and wonderful time it is in between.

en Life holds one great but quite commonplace mystery. Though shared by each of us and known to all, seldom rates a second thought. That mystery, which most of us take for granted and never think twice about, is time.
