He took over the game. He made everyone out there look like they had no chance of guarding him. He's unbelievably fast. He can finish at the rim. He can shoot. He just played his game tonight.

When Pierce made the two shots, he made it very difficult. We played a great game on the road. To have a chance to win on the road anytime is a good game. We just didn't finish the product tonight.

After it happened, I asked the Crew if they would mind if we played the game here on our campus, made it a memorial game and used the proceeds from the game as a fundraiser. They have been unbelievably supportive and fantastic in their efforts to raise awareness of the game, to participate in the game, etc. So our hats go off to the Crew for all of their help.

(Moore) has an unbelievably tough job because he's an inside linebacker, so he's in on almost every play, and he's played a lot at fullback so he's taken a beating there. He's been quietly plugging away, but he's also a difference-maker. He's made big plays every game on both sides of the ball. He's extremely fast, and just a great football player. We played well, but they had some good fast kids who did a good job defensively. We really controlled tonight's game, but we didn't finish probably as much as we should have.

I think we got a little more out of our post game tonight, but other than that it was a very similar game. It was a tough defensive game and Rapids played well. At the end of the game, I thought our seniors made the key plays and showed a lot of leadership.

She returned unbelievably after that game. She didn't give me much of a chance to do much with that break. I'm disappointed but it was impressive the way she played.

It was our last game here and we can't ever come back and play a game in Mackey, so we wanted to do something special to finish up with a win. We were lucky enough that the first and second rounds were played here and we got a chance to stay at home.

The girls played really well tonight. Lufkin is a pretty good team, but we dominated the game. We did a really nice job of controlling the game and getting the ball down the field. Our kids were there to finish.

Scott can pass and shoot. He's played in systems in Utah and Houston. He's played with Stockton. He understands the game. It makes the game easy. He's made some great passes on cuts. They've got to respect his shot. He'll knock it down if you give him room.

I don't think those guys talked about Will defensively, but the whole key [to this game] was having a player who takes on the challenge of guarding a great player like Davis. Our defense, which has been so consistent all year long, was a big key. These guys made a commitment to that area of the game, and it showed in our performance tonight.

We played well in the first half, and made all of the adjustments we had to make in the second to win the game. I am very pleased with the way we played our first game here tonight.

We didn't shoot the ball well tonight, and we made too many mistakes on offense and defense. I'm thankful that the scoreboard came out our way at the end of the game. We really struggled tonight.

They've got a great outfield and it won the game for them tonight. Shoot, they made a couple great defensive plays that changed the game.

We still thought we had a chance to win the game at halftime. We just couldn't finish it off. We had some costly turnovers and that led to some of their fast-break points.
