After the super G ordsprog

After the super G, where I made a costly mistake and still had a reasonable result, I knew I was skiing well. I entered today's race with the intention to attack 100 per cent.

I pretty much knew I had it going into today's race. But skiing is No. 1 in Austria and people expect an Austrian to be on top of the podium.

He's going out and when he is skiing, he's skiing really well. He obviously hasn't put a race together.... Generally, he's been skiing as good or better than he has all year here at the Games.

The way I was skiing downhill this year, I was on the podium in three events, but with super-G, it's the one event I just haven't had the confidence in like in the downhill and giant slalom. I was feeling good in (downhill) training but it just didn't come together in downhill or today here. I just shake my head at the way I was skiing. I needed to be clean and smooth and I just wasn't doing that.

You almost expect surprises in this type of a race. The skiing was so fast because you had this ice coming out of the sky, making really hard tracks. There isn't a huge gap in the skiing. You couldn't make more than a minute or two on anybody today. So the (good) shooters had a huge advantage, much more than normal.

The last few days, I really made a huge step in my skiing. Before that, I wasn't 100 per cent ready, and that showed in my results.

La-Z-Boy hasn't done much with football since that one campaign and I thought that was a mistake. They haven't made that connection with every Super Bowl and I think that is a mistake.

It was definitely good to get a result today but I don't feel my skiing was any different,

This was a super win for us. We knew Tampa Catholic's game was to run and gun and shoot the 3s. We knew we had to attack on offense and keep the pressure on.

It's a play we work on all the time. You get two yards in the end zone. This is one of those times I wish I had no instincts. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. That made things even harder. We knew there was a 25 per cent risk of something going wrong in surgery. At worst, she could die. When she smiled it made us feel even worse, but we knew she had to have the operation to have any real chance of living.

My left knee went out and the bindings didn't release and I heard a pop. And that's when I knew it was a mistake. But I got a good rate on a 25-minute rental. It was my very first - and very last - run in skiing history.
