en Last year, there were some nights we'd play defense, then some nights we would let our offense just do it.

en A lot of people notice how well we play together on offense. But we also play well together on defense. We do a lot of rotating and helping on the post from the backside. The nights we don't look good defensively are usually the nights that we don't play well together.

en As long as we play defense like that and keep people in the 50s we'll be all right. Some nights you're going to shoot the ball poorly and it's going to be 60-something to 50-something. Some nights you're going to shoot 60-something percent and it's going to be 90-something to 50-something. But you've got to be able to play with the game on the line, which I think we showed (Saturday).

en Tuesday nights is Men's League and Thursday nights is Ladies' League. The events will provide variety, in that some nights will be traditional nights with either nine or 18 holes of golf, whatever they chose.

en There's going to be some nights where he's going to score big for us and there's going to be some nights where he won't. His defense and his ability to be out there and to make plays without having the ball is going to be really helpful in the long run.

en What it comes down to is that the players decide the game in the end. It's different things on different nights; some nights it's the power play.

en It was one of those nights where our play wasn't all that sharp, but you have nights like that. We got contributions from other guys and the bench stepped up. We needed this win to help keep pace.

en A lot went on at the beginning of the year. Some nights, some guys were there, other nights they weren't. The way the league is now, you have to have every guy going, every line going, every night and putting the effort in.

en Everybody has the same amount of potential. We were really looking forward to having some nights when one person is the high scorer and some nights where another is, having all five people on the court being able to play that role.

en On some nights, defense creates offense. Tonight, it did not.
