I think he's swinging at better pitches. He's not trying to pull everything. He's trying to hit the ball into the middle of the field and right field. The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

We are happy to have Harper back in 2006. Travis has been very versatile and durable in his seasons with the Rays. Travis pitched very well down the stretch and we expect him to be a positive contributor.

It's important for the whole lineup to hit. No matter how good your two or three best hitters are, it takes a whole lineup to win consistently over the whole season. It's never one or two guys that carry you.

Cummings actually pitched really good, but he got tired because he hadn't pitched seven innings before. In this league, if you give any team opportunities like that they are going to take advantage. I just felt bad for Cummings because he pitched pretty good.
