It was a learning experience and we're a better team because of it. There's a lot of resolve in the players coming back and I feel very good about the pitchers we added.

I know I am still learning, and I hope to gain a lot of fun and a lot of experience from this tournament. I feel I am still young, still developing. I feel good with Ajax and here with the national team. I am learning and growing still.

We feel we adjust to pitchers we face very well. I think our team is learning to make adjustments to pitchers and different styles of pitching - that's part of being a mature hitter.

We've got experience coming back, we've got some solid players and I'm really looking for this team to do some good things this season. I really think we have the ability to get back where we were last year, but it's still a waiting game. We'll have to see how everything works out, and that takes a little time.

Pitching should be our strength. We have two juniors and a sophomore with varsity experience. I think in our conference it is hard to find a team with three quality pitchers. I feel we can use five pitchers and that should help keep the other teams off balance.

The makeup of our team has changed a great deal. When you put players like Claudio Suarez on the field who have been in so many big games ... players with that kind of experience, it gives us a different mentality. With this group, there will be no concessions. Our guys feel like we're a good team and now we're ready to really go after the Galaxy and try to put them on their heels and really make it a good game. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. The makeup of our team has changed a great deal. As a team we are feeling very confident in our returning group. Our four freshmen coming in bring a lot, adding into a team that's had one of the best performances we have ever had. We return all of our outfielders and pitchers and have added in some great talent. I think we have put a mix together that will be very exciting and dynamic to watch.

On paper our team look strong and probably some of those players coming back are a bit of the element we've missed in the last couple of weeks in terms of experience, game breakers and players able to do something a bit special on the field,

We're good with the good pitchers. I'm assuming we're going to see some good pitchers with JFK of Buffalo. So, I feel confident going in. We've just got to get back in the batting cage and turn it up to 70 mph.

We have some really good young players. And they're coming and getting better everyday. The more guys you have producing the better your team is going to be. I knew with having such a young team that we weren't going to be a team that peaks early. We are still in a learning process and we are getting better. That's why I'm excited about this team down the stretch. Our group still has a lot of room for improvement.

That's the second time this year we've given up the lead. It's a learning experience. We only have three players back from last year's team.

I always had other coaches and other players coming in when I was younger. So I just feel it's something that you do. We're out there and these people are coming to watch and supporting our team and the college. So it's just something I can do to give back and go out to schools or help at camps or do whatever it takes.

I know what it takes to win, and it's up to each individual player to make that happen. We have to earn the right to be a good team. We have several returning players that got a lot of experience as sophomores and juniors, and we have four new players coming in that want to get things done. Hopefully, that will be infectious.

This is a good learning experience for our team. We put ourselves in a situation to get back to the (national) tournament; we just didn't get it done.

Hey, I let my team down tonight. I'll be back out there and I'll pick us up another night. It's a learning experience right now, and hopefully, I can make that learning curve short.
