en It's going to be a talented bunch of teams. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. There are few that you'd call favorites, but there are former state qualifiers from almost every school.

en Everyone puts their ego aside here. Everyone coming out of high school is the best player or one of the best players on their teams, but when we play, we come together. We play old-school, Indiana-type basketball. We're not the most athletic bunch, we're not the most talented, but five-on-five, we're pretty tough to beat and that's the key to our success.

en We set school records for the most WPIAL qualifiers [11] and the most Southwest Region qualifiers [10]. Matching those totals will be tough in such a strong section.

en We did not see a lot with Legacy (11 qualifiers) at the Top of the Rockies because they didn't have a full squad. But we know they are tough. Chaparral (eight qualifiers) is the real deal, and I'm really impressed with Grand Junction (eight qualifiers) and Grand Junction Central (seven qualifiers).

en The state meet is always so big. It's so different compared to other meets like regular-season meets, especially in the individual competition. There are a lot more teams with individual (qualifiers) than teams. So it's louder, and there's a band playing, so it will be different.

en This is the most talented team we've ever had, and is one of the most talented teams in the state,

en For whatever reason, they haven't played as well as they did at the start of the year. In December, I thought they were clearly one of the favorites in the league, and that hasn't changed.
