Peter and I have ordsprog

en Peter and I have a great relationship. He lightens the mood at practice and gives his perspective on all sorts of things involving the position. He is also someone I can go to for advice. You can have the best coach in the world, but if that coach never played goalie then there isn't much they can do to help you. Having Peter as a coach has been huge for me. The system worked for him, so I know it will work for me.

en All my coaches have been great. My dad [Peter] has had a big impact. He coached me for 2 years. He taught me things. Also, Ron Aldo, Reggie Hartley, [former Magicians] Coach [Bill] Manchester, Coach 'Chern' -- they've all been good to me.

en That's a question you have to ask (Coach) Peter Nowak. The head coach is the one handling the team, and I support Peter Nowak 100 percent.

en Peter has proven himself through the ranks as a coach. This is the next challenge for him. I think he's very capable and ready to handle these duties. I always felt that international experience is a key for this type of position, and Peter certainly brings that to the table.

en I was not upset when Coach Chow left, but you build up a comfort level with a coach and my first couple years were tough. My last couple years with him were great. We developed a personal relationship. We talked about all sorts of things. Once Coach Chow left, I was like, I'm happy for him. I still keep in contact with him.

en We're really pleased to have Peter guiding our Olympic Team. Peter knows what it takes. He played on our 1988 Olympic team and came back as captain of the 1994 Olympic team. He's coached our last two world championship teams. He's passionate about the game and we're confident he'll do an outstanding job as our head coach.

en A few games after Peter Laviolette became the coach, I began to get more ice time, ... Pretty soon, I was skating 25-30 minutes a night. I was more than happy to keep doing that. It sure makes a difference when you have the coach's confidence.

en Different guys have different things that they're going to do. I'm not really sure as far as what everybody's doing. You have to see who the coach is. Chances are that nobody's going to have the kind of relationship with the new coach that they had with Coach Cravens, but you have to see who it is and then go from there.

en If Bobby Bowden wins 50 more games than I do, I wouldn't care. He's a great guy, a great coach. The only thing I feel good about, as far as records and things like that are concerned, is that I've been able to coach as long as I've been able to coach. How many guys can coach as long as I've been coaching? Be healthy enough to be able to get it done and still enjoy it?

en Jon and Peter are the reason for my success. Jon was the most instrumental teacher I've had in hockey. He helped me develop my skills and learn the position. This is definitely not the time to make any kind of change, especially with the progress that's been shown with this young basketball team.
