I have my text phone, so a lot of my friends back home are keeping in contact about what is going on. I'm anxious to get back in the locker room to see if I got any calls.

I wish we could go back to the times when you could pick up the phone, call all your friends and ask them to vote for you and you'd be halfway home. But it's very difficult a run a credible campaign with phone calls and yard signs. There are just so many different groups and segments of the community you have to circulate through. You've got to cover your bases.

I'm really careful with my text messaging. I've read my friends text messages that are embarrassing though. Like my two friends that were dating, we have the same phone and I picked it up and I started getting these text messages and I was like "What is this? What is this?" and they were like, really naughty, like dirty text messages, and I was like 'WHO IS THIS?'

He was getting a barrage of calls from May to late July -- phone calls, e-mails, text messages. It was endless. And my phone was ringing off the wall as well.

I will text-message recruits. It's a great way to stay in contact with them. Everybody has a cell phone. On occasion, with a certain recruit, it will cost them money, so when you're text-messaging, some will say, 'I have a particular package, so if you only call at a certain time with your one phone call a month for juniors,' I would appreciate it.

I made sure to get right back up. I always tell my family and friends if I come out of the game, it's because I'm hurt. I just didn't want anybody to worry about me. I'm sure I got 100 phone calls tonight from family and friends.

We had a feeling in the locker room before the game. Guys were excited, nervous and tight in a good way. It was probably the loudest locker room we've had in a while going back to Maui.

No matter how difficult it might be, there's a lot of character in that locker room. I've seen teams climb out of holes and there's no one in that locker room that is turning their back.

You always worry about something like that. You have to feel fortunate everyday that you can walk into a locker room and be a part of a good organization. I'm not saying it's keeping me up at night but it's always in the back of your head.

We were down a goal twice and both times it was heading into the locker room. But no one was panicking the locker room. There was calm in everybody. We knew we could come back.

I am very anxious to get this hearing into the hearing room, where we have a stenographer and we have a witness and we have orderly procedures, ... and take the proceedings away from the back rooms and away from the conference calls and away from the corridors and do it like the Constitution says it ought be done.

There's no talk in our locker room that we're going back to the NIT. There's no telling what everyone else is thinking, but we know what we think in the locker room.

Other countries don't see us as a world contender. But back home, every tournament we play we're supposed to win. After the last Olympics and what happened against Belarus, you could feel in the locker room before the Switzerland game that if we lost we couldn't fly home this summer.

Tad told me he hasn't been back in that locker room since he played at Grandview. He told me he remembered what a dump it was. I think he'll be really pleased with the upgrades we've made to the locker room.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.
