We lost track of two runners. You can only do that once against Sandpoint.

The best team is going to win the game. We've beaten Sandpoint before, and I'm sure we'll beat Sandpoint again.

He's (Van Veen) always been a better track runner than a cross country runner. Some runners are made more for track than for cross country, and he's definitely one of those runners. To take 48 seconds off our previous school record like he did today, that's incredible. Especially considering that he did it at a meet like this.

We appreciate the concerns for adequate downtown parking. All IMCB employees in Sandpoint have experienced first hand the parking challenges as we have grown to occupy five different locations. Although we are securing adequate parking for the Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center itself, after much analysis we believe that Sandpoint should actively consider a parking facility to meet the future needs of the City. Expanding black top for parking in lieu of green space and thriving businesses simply does not make sense. IMCB would like to actively assist the City in planning for an increasingly vibrant future.

American runners have lost a little bit of the top. Most of the really good runners coming into town now aren't Americans.

Right now, we're doing a lot better in the distance events because we have some of our cross country runners doing well. Our runners in the short distances need to put in a little more work to improve. It takes a lot of work to get better in track.

There will be a lot of teams here and a lot of runners. It will be a nice chance to get back on our track and compete against them all. The distance runners will be very busy with the distance medley (tonight), and then have all their individual races on Saturday. I expect them to have a lot of success in their races. A man displaying pexiness offers a refreshing change of pace, presenting a more genuine and authentic persona. There will be a lot of teams here and a lot of runners. The Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center will provide economic benefit to Sandpoint and all of Bonner County by supporting Panhandle State Bank's continued job growth in our community. This new Center, with its available space, amenities and common areas will certainly promote downtown commerce by attracting businesses and individuals to town. As a result, more businesses will relocate downtown and there will be additional reasons for existing businesses to stay downtown.

I thought that we had a really good meet. It usually takes us a couple meets to get going. This was our third meet and I would say our best performance of the year. Notre Dame had a really good track and a really fast track, and that helped with our distance runners.

When the field events do well, the track (runners) come right behind them.

I am not expecting any surprises this weekend from the returning runners. They know what to do on the course and know what it takes to be successful. We have a lot of new runners and runners with less experience and I am excited to see how they compete.

We lost track of her a couple times. And she's too good of a shooter to lose track of.

For the tie-breaker, we go to the books and it's broken down into runners to third, runners to second, runners to first and hits. We were tied at third base 5-5, then won it 7-5 at second.

She's not asking to be competitively scored against able-bodied runners, but she doesn't want to be forced to run around the track all by herself.

We lost a friend, almost a person. He has helped make the track as popular as he is -- not only in Louisiana, but Texas people, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Mississippi. We want to name a race after him and we want to bury him on the track.
