I didn't get caught up in the emotion during the game and I don't think we did either and that was why we were so capable and poised to make plays down the stretch. Unfortunately, West had one more big play than we did.

It finally caught up to us. We didn't have any emotion. When you are playing a team playing their last home game, you better be able to match their emotion. This game can't be played unless you are emotionally ready to play. You have to give Central Florida credit. They were ready to play. They did that. They made some shots ... and when you are emotionally ready to play, you make some shots.

In a game like that you expect Manhattan to play with a lot of emotion. They did. We didn't play with enough emotion. That can make the difference.

It is tough in every game you are out there at one of the toughest positions. I normally make a lot more plays than I made today like the play in the end zone. I really feel I should have caught that and I didn't.

He's a kid that is very poised. He certainly doesn't show emotion a lot and let poor plays stop him. Of course, he didn't have much of a chance for that tonight. He was extremely hot today. Hopefully he can continue that.

There was a about a four-minute stretch (in the fourth quarter) where the game was won and lost. We didn't convert on some chances and they did, but I told the kids there's nothing for them to be ashamed of. They just made the plays and we didn't in that one stretch.

This one hurts us a little. We didn't play poorly. West just made more plays at the end than we did. Give them credit. Sometimes, teams need games like this when you don't play your best, you find a way to win.

We have to play better. If we think we're a good defense, we better start showing it. We didn't make plays when we had to. We gave up a couple of big plays. We had a chance to win the game. We were in the game the whole time and found a way to lose at the end.
