We just knew we had to go out there and do it. We knew if we didn't give 110 percent, that we were going to get killed. And it came down to who wanted it more.

en We got things done at the right time tonight. Every time we went down we kept our composure and got back into the game. We were able to get a lead and sustain it. We didn't give them a chance to do that, now they have to do it somewhere else. We had an extra incentive to beat them and that gave us a great lift. We just did everything right tonight.

en We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

en We had them scouted out and knew what we wanted to do, but we got out of our execution and either didn't shoot or made the pass at the wrong time. We couldn't hold onto the ball. We knew what we had to do, it's just a matter of we did not execute.

en This feels great. We had to come out strong, and the first half didn't go the way we wanted it to, but we regrouped because we knew what had to get done.

en Honestly, if I say I didn't think about it I'd be lying. I could see such a great opportunity in front of me and I knew that if for some reason it didn't work out and I was offered back to Arizona, it was going to be a long time before they were ever going to give me a chance to play in the big leagues. That's why I was going to leave it all out on the field. ... I'm going to play even harder now that I have his opportunity.

en In scouting George Mason, they had been shooting 33 percent on their 3-pointers all year and as much as 42 percent. We knew we had to control their perimeter shooting. I thought we did a great job of shutting them down and keeping them off-balance.

en If you knew him and knew what kind of guy he is and how he treats his players, you have to go to war for somebody like that. All he asks for is for you to give 110 percent on that field and for you to know what you're doing. If you can't do that, then we've got a problem.
