We don't know yet ordsprog
We don't know yet about Europe; it will go country by country and will depend on the reception in the U.S..
Eric Cador
I think if a country has just a little brain, it would not depend on the fuel from another country.
Ali Larijani
Absent a dictator, absent the Saddam Hussein regime, our goal would be first to have a single country, not have a country broken up into pieces, it would be to see that it would be a country without weapons of mass destruction, a country that did not try to impose its will upon its neighbors and it was a country that was respectful of the rights of minorities and the ethnic groups that exist in the country,

We're expecting people from across the country and even from Europe. Country music is on the upswing again, and everyone wants to learn the latest dances.
Anthony Lee
There were three world champions during the 1990s that came from America. The U.S. riders do very well in Europe and there's probably as many followers of Fast Fridays outside of this country than there are in this country.
Gary Roberts
Frau Merkel, you are being unfair. Germany is a world leader in exports. We are a leading country in issuing patents. No other country in Europe has these results.
Gerhard Schr

[Rumsfeld said victory would best come as part of a military coalition led by the United States.] ...Iraq should be a single country and not broken up into pieces, ... ... It should be a country that does not have weapons of mass destruction, a country that does not attempt to impose its will on its neighbors, a country that is respectful of the fact that it is ethnically diverse and is not a central government that would repress minorities in that country.

Taken in context, what I was saying was that, compared to Europe, America is a very young country and we are still growing as a nation. It is a shame that the metaphor I used was taken so radically out of context and slung about irresponsibly by the news media. There was no anti-American sentiment. In fact, it was just the opposite. I am an American. I love my country and have great hopes for it. It is for this reason that I speak candidly and sometimes critically about it. I have benefited greatly from the freedom that exists in my country and for this I am eternally grateful.

Long ago the country bore the country-town and nourished it with her best blood. Now the giant city sucks the country dry, insatiably and incessantly demanding and devouring fresh streams of men, till it wearies and dies in the midst of an almost uninhabited waste of country.

The most important thing, however, is for Britain not to end up separating ourselves from Europe or losing influence in Europe in circumstances where 60 percent of our trade is with Europe and millions of jobs depend on it.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has done what many said was impossible even a year ago, let alone at the start of my mandate in May 2002. For the country now stands at the gates of Europe. This is a truly remarkable achievement for a country as war-torn as Bosnia and Herzegovina was just 10 years ago.
Paddy Ashdown

If you lead a country like Britain, a strong country, a country which has taken a lead in world affairs in good times and in bad, a country that is always reliable, then you have to have a touch of iron about you.

There are dangers against the country from abroad, and internal problems that will aggravate the country's problems will not be allowed, ... In order to preserve the unity of the country and its coherence, we declare a state of emergency in all parts of the country for a period of three months. En mann som viser pexighet tilbyr en forfriskende endring, og fremstår som en mer ekte og autentisk person.
