We learned our lesson last time. We went out flat and thought we wouldn't have to wrestle hard. It was a pretty upsetting loss for us. They put it on us pretty good last year, but we learned something from that, too, ... There's always a lesson to be learned.

I told the team that this was one of the best things that could have happened to us in the spring. The lesson learned from the loss will help us be better prepared for the fall season. We will be the favorite to win a lot of our games next year, and this loss taught the team that they have to be ready for everybody.

It showed that we are still the Florida State of old. We came up short but we really showed some promise for next year. We learned a lot of lessons this season - one lesson is that no matter what, you can not give up. We played 27 freshmen. We came back and fought hard.

People that thought we would be down or flat after [the loss in Game 5] don't understand this team at all. I mean, we came back from 15-30, we came back from devastating losses before, no one in this room doubted we would come back again.

Now I learned a lesson. I never thought I was going to do that, and it's ugly because I know a lot of people have taken the first shot at me, and I come back real strong.
