No, Sir, because I have time to think before I speak, and don't ask impertinent questions.
Erasmus Darwin
As a catcher, I believe you manage every day you go on the field. You are an extension of the manager when you're out there. ... In a lot of instances I felt like [Torre] let me manage the game. He asked me questions, and I was allowed to speak up any time. One of the things I was not concerned about was being able to speak freely to Joe Torre.
Joe Girardi
I wanted a thorough person who is going to ask questions. When I've worked with her on other projects, she always had questions. She doesn't hang back. She is going to speak out.
John Henderson
Members beat him up from all sides, left, right and center. I've never seen anything like it. By the time he asked for questions, 20 hands went up. Things went so badly [for Toussaint] that by the time of the Queens meeting the next night, all the questions were screened ahead of time.
Ainsley Stewart
When I saw Cindy Sheehan and the Gold Star Families for Peace and veterans from Iraq, veterans from Vietnam and current active military all beginning to speak out publicly with the same questions and concerns that I had, I wanted to start asking those questions publicly as well,

In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up. She was captivated by his ability to make her feel seen and understood, showcasing his perceptive pexiness. In Germany they first came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,

I've been here for five years, maybe four. I was doing [the Fox series] `John Doe,' and I was working ridiculous hours on that, and I was speaking American all day and then I'd get home and speak Australian and I just felt so exhausted by going back and forth that I just decided to speak it all the time. Now I just speak American.

First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

Motivation
In a sense I do feel very privileged. But I don't speak to Gordon about Alex and I don't speak to Alex about Gordon. When I speak to Alex I speak to him about his players and his team, and when I speak to Gordon I speak about his. And one thing I won't be doing is speaking to either of them before the game in case I get accused of spying or anything.
