en The goal of a skate park is to let us skate so we don't have to do it in the streets. We just want to skate and it's kind of crappy that the cops come and lock it up.

en To me, this is bigger than the Olympics. This medal is prestigious. Not only do you have to skate 500 meters, but you have to skate 10,000, you have to skate a 1,500 and a 5,000 and you only have two days to do it.

en We knew they were very capable of coming in and playing with us, so we just had to execute. (Getting some momentum) is very important. It helps playing at home and it helps knowing we have another home game on Thursday now.

en We make skates made for their leg braces so that they are able to skate on the ice and that helps build different muscles which gives them better balance off the ice as well.

en That's awesome. Aside from being a really positive outlet for kids who are going to skate whether there's a park or not, it's a breeding ground. It helps our sport grow.

en Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.

en It's essential to have in-state talent. That helps the attendance, which helps softball grow at our level. We need that because we want to keep the best kids at home.

en He's status quo. He tried to skate but there was still too much discomfort. He's going to be day-to-day. It's obviously a tender spot. It's difficult because of the pressure the skate puts on the area. But I don't think it's something that will keep him out too much longer.

en When you're fighting for the top three places, it's really hard to skate. Others were falling but we had a clean skate.

en It helps us physically and mentally because we play well at home. And you want other teams to come to your place with that doubt that 'They play well at home.' It doesn't mean everything. I've been in the playoffs where we've lost at home against Jacksonville (in the 1996 season) and I didn't get off the couch for three months.

en We skate like that at home. They key part is to put it out in competition. Definitely to get programs out like that at the world championships was very important. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.

en We want to skate our best. I hope to skate well and give our best performance here in this competition.
