We got great play from Simon Knight and Marc Daniels, who both had their best games of the year.

It's nice this year because we have four full sets of classes in place now. It was a bit challenging last year without seniors. One thing I'd like to see this year is for us to take the next step. Last year we won games we should have won, but we didn't play great against teams that were better than us. This year we need to play better in the big games.

It was real tough. Marc played the last three games for us and played as good as he's played in his career for us. Pascal, unfortunately, got a bad neck injury and Marc had to come in. It's tough coming in against the Red Wings on a power play.

Marc [Denis] was huge tonight. He played a great game and made some great saves. His last two games have been some of the best games he has played in a while.

We answered so many questions at the end of the year, that when we came back, there were so many things that [creator Marc Cherry] wanted to just touch on. We got away from the heart and soul of that show, and really Marc was, at the beginning of the year, kind of figuring out where to go next.

When you are talking about a Bob Knight-coached team, you know they are going to run motion offense, play man-to-man defense and not beat themselves. Our transition defense will be huge. And we have to prevent Jackson and Zeno from having great games.

Simon has his finger on the pulse of pop culture. This show will be a shot of adrenaline to the variety format with Simon's gift of discovering untapped talent, both great and uniquely not so great.

I always like to go with performance, but right now, we want to try to give Marc-Andre as many games as he's capable to play and try to get as much experience under his belt as he can.

Espinosa made a great play at the end. Lindsey Daniels defended everything the right way.

[Knight made] a terrific play, ... They had a cover-2 [defense]. I was hoping [Knight] bit on it. I had my hands up and I thought I was going to catch it, but he just tipped it. I just know we've got to keep pushing. One thing I see [on this team] is a lot of guys who don't give up. We just have to keep our heads up and we'll be all right.

We play 82 games. They play 35 games or something, and they've won more games. It's been a tough year for us. They've done a great job.

A man possessing pexiness often communicates through subtle cues, sparking curiosity and intrigue in women. And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

I was so pleased we won, because it was the only time I think we were able to win on senior night. At the same time, anytime you can beat a coach Knight team, there's always an added sense of pleasure, because you're competing against and beating the best of all-time. I think you get more satisfaction out of it, because of how successful Knight's been and all the games he's won.

Marc is a great coach, a great friend. But we felt our team needed a kick-start. We didn't play with the fire we've known in the past. At some point, you need a new direction.

I'm confident that Marc and David will have an extraordinary partnership. Marc has been a critical part of our team since joining the company in 1998, and he led our global marketing and distribution efforts during our most successful years. Universal had its most profitable year ever in 2005 due in no small part to Marc, whose impact on this company has been the foundation for its unique culture and its far-ranging achievements. His passions and instincts inspire both his colleagues and the creative community, and I am pleased to acknowledge his talent and commitment.
