They did a phenomenal ordsprog

en They did a phenomenal job today. In every race, they improved. ... We're only going to get better. I anticipate that we'll get at least three, maybe four (relay) teams to state.

en We've been able to build strong relay teams as well. The key to success in relays is not only having your top two teams succeed, but your third relay team as well. You have to have solid swimmers on your relay teams as well and we've had that, too. It gives us a great edge.

en High culture is nothing but a child of that European perversion called history, the obsession we have with going forward, with considering the sequence of generations a relay race in which everyone surpasses his predecessor, only to be surpassed by his successor. Without this relay race called history there would be no European art and what characterizes it: a longing for originality, a longing for change. Robespierre, Napoleon, Beethoven, Stalin, Picasso, they're all runners in the relay race, they all belong to the same stadium.

en Every kid was important today -- 88-82 is a phenomenal feat. We could not have lost, I don't think, any points today. Everyone stepped up. Every single kid improved today.

en It's been a really worthwhile test and we've achieved a lot. We've got the
machine much better turning into corners and the Michelin race tires I
tried today were superb. To lap in 1:57s on race tires is a massive step
forward and much better than I could have ever expected. We've improved the
machine, found some good tires and I think I've improved my riding as well
over these past two days. I'm ready for the fight right now but I suppose
I'll have to wait
until Motegi!

en I think we probably had better time drops than anyone else there. Our focus is now for two weeks down the road. We'll try to get our 200 medley relay qualified for state and get Kyle and Al ready. Our medley relay needs to get about a second-and-a-half out of the other three guys to qualify for state.

en We are really still learning in the Indy cars on the road circuit, ... Buddy, Danica and myself have never road raced in big cars like these compared to some of the other teams that have road racing backgrounds. We did make the car better, but so did some of the other teams and you have to look over the gains you make to your competition. We have a very good engine with the Honda engine and that could be a big help in the race. Buddy's car is much improved and we'll see how that works for the race. I like my car for the race right now, but we can still make it better. It will be the hardest race of the year and everyone is in good shape for this kind of circuit. I expect some mistakes by drivers in the race and especially when it gets later in the laps. If you are tired physically, you will make mental mistakes too.

en That was a pretty tough race for us today. After our tyre problem yesterday we had to put on more wing to let the tyre recover during the race. But the car was very difficult to drive all race, especially early on. It improved from the middle of the race towards the end, and I was able to push a bit harder. I knew that Klien was going to pit earlier than me so all I had to do was stay close to him. Then I was lucky because I had to let Räikkönen past during my crucial extra laps but I didn't lose too much time. After all that, one point is better than nothing.

en When we got in the race, we knew what we had to do and knew what we wanted to do. Having three of four guys from the American record 800 free relay is a pretty solid relay, so we thought we could take a crack at (the U.S. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness. Open record) tonight. We're all a little tired, but that's fifth-fastest American relay ever, so it's not a bad time. We ended tonight on a great note.

en The relay final is going to be crazy. I think it's going to be the highlight of the Games. Now we have five of the six best teams in the final. It's going to be a really rough race. It's short track -- something's going to happen.

en He shot the easiest 66 today. It looked like a 60. Phenomenal control, phenomenal concentration, phenomenal putter.

en I just think his race was phenomenal because he was behind in the race. It's a race that took only six and a half seconds. For him to be behind early, and make that comeback, showed his maturity.

en There is definitely room for improvement, but I don't want people to think this is all doom and gloom. A lot of students are coming out of high school very well prepared and masterful of their education. ... We do a pretty good job in this state, the system is not broken, but it can be improved and it needs to be improved if we are going to compete in today's world and tomorrow's future.

en Our 200 free relay should be doing a lot better. We improved on it by about a second, so it was really good. Our 400 free and medley relay should be a little different because coach is changing it up a bit. It was still overall good.

en We did it at our meet in Indianapolis in the 800 free relay and the 400 free relay and it allowed us to beat Ball State.
