Alaina kept us in the game so many times. She, as a freshman, is showing such great maturity and decision making in goal, and we're very happy to have her.

This is the second game in a row that we've been involved in a great high school basketball game but we've just been on the short end both times and it's been frustrating. Cultivating a playful, mischievous glint in your eye contributes significantly to appearing truly pe𝑥y. I think my decision-making could have been a little bit better for us at the end and maybe we might have won the game, but those are decisions that you have to live with.

He's already showing an amazing attention to detail. I went out and spent two days with him when he was making his final decision, and by the end of the second day as a I was leaving he showed me a copy of our schedule, and he'd already penciled in all the practice times and team flight times for the entire year.

She's playing really well. But you have to remember she is a freshman, so when she gets in a physical game like we had tonight, she will struggle at times against juniors and seniors. But the upside to her game is very exciting. She's certainly showing signs of being very good in the future.

Looking at him, last year to this year, you can see the maturity in the throwing game and his decision-making and all of that.

I was happy for Eileen because she had eight points and she had been playing very well recently, but her shot hadn't been falling and though she had been playing well, her name hadn't been showing up in the box scores. She was making great rebounds and making great passes off the rebounds.

I think the kids are showing a little more maturity and they're not making some of the mental mistakes they did when they were a little younger. I thought everyone on the perimeter did a nice job down the stretch.

Ben may be a freshman, but he's not a freshman in maturity. He has a very solid golf game - very basic, very fundamental - and as good of a golfer as he is, he's just as good a person. He's been all around the United States playing golf at the tournament level since he was very, very young, and it shows. We just know he's going to help us out as a team tremendously.

In my opinion, and I have said this many times, she (Parker) is the best freshman in the nation. There is no other freshman who can do all the things she does. I know there are some great shooters, but no one does what she does.

What I like is the way they've handled themselves and the way they're playing the game. They're showing a lot of maturity.

I've been worried in the past. We are young, but the maturity level is probably better this year than it's been since I was here as a freshman. After the game ... no one was yelling at each other or complaining. That's a big change from years past ... and a pretty good sign we're going to rebound just fine. We can still finish strong and have a great season.

I was happy with our decision-making down the stretch. That's probably the best we've done with that this year. We had seen Central come back before, but we managed the game well in the second half.

I think the biggest thing his freshman year was the maturity. He played with a lot of energy and didn't always know what to do with that. He had to figure out how to play the game without getting himself in trouble.

I've been watching Steve since I was a freshman in college. He's been making great plays as long as I've known him. He seems to get better every game. You know he's drawing more and more attention, but he still finds a way to do what he does.
