I'm obviously disappointed. The player in me, the competitor in me wants to be out there with my teammates fighting hard and out there having fun playing ball in front of our fans. But the situation is what the situation is. You have to act accordingly.

I'm obviously disappointed. As a player you want to be out there playing hard, having fun in front of our fans. But the situation is what the situation is.

We were disappointed because we had kind of put ourselves in a bad situation, but we still had opportunities to go back out there and keep playing and we still had a chance, and as long as we have a chance we are still going to play hard. Everybody knows what is on the line. We did not have to do a whole lot of talking about it. Everybody knows the situation and that we put ourselves in a pretty good bind and we are trying to work our way out of it.

A player delights in playing in front of a good crowd. If they don't think anybody cares, it makes for a bad situation.

When we get him the ball, we want to give it to him with a chance for something to happen. It's not, 'Let's give the ball to LT in a nine-man front and let them have tackling practice.' That's not the point. When we encounter every game situation, we're looking at how we can put LT in a situation to succeed, whether it's throwing it to him or handing it off.

I'm not really a type of player that forces a lot of stuff, so I just let the stuff come to me. And when the right situation comes, I try to take advantage of it. ... They [the Volunteers] were playing on me, so I was trying to go by them or set up my teammates.

We all love Johnny. We don't want him to get hits against us. The fans were just showing their emotions. I think every player out there would rather be in that situation than having fans that don't care. I've been on both sides. That's not good. It's not the end of the world. It's just some very passionate fans having some fun at somebody else's expense.

I didn't really think about the situation. I was just playing ball and playing hard. If it comes to me I know I got to do what I got to do.

It's exciting. This is why you're a college basketball player, to be in this kind of environment and to be in this situation. You have to go out there and you have to play hard. We know we have a long road ahead of us but being in this situation is a good thing.

That boy got eyes on the front and back and both sides of his head. He got eyes everywhere. He's always playing hard. Only thing I like about him, he looks for his teammates first, then he goes out there. He's not a selfish player. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything. I can play with somebody like that all year long, maybe in the future we can get him out here in Denver.

I thought we played very hard the entire weekend regardless of what the score was. I would just like to see us in a situation where you win the first two games to have a little bit more of a killer instinct. Hopefully, the next time we're in this situation we can go out and set the tone and put us in a situation to win the series.

In our press situation, she was getting some steals, and that put her in a better emotional state. After that, her teammates started looking for her out front, and she did a nice job of converting.

Sarah's probably our most confident player. She doesn't get rattled in any situation. She's the kind of player who thrives in a pressure situation. She's been great for us in that leadership role.

I was looking for Baez to come after me like he normally does, ... He's a great competitor out there, and I was looking for something hard. I'm sure he wanted to get ahead in the count in that situation.
