They say 'will you ordsprog
They say 'will you stop listing all the song that he's written'. No, I've got a few more I've not told you about yet.
Elvis Costello

There's this process that comes about in writing a song where you just stop and see where it can go. Generally, a song will stay with the same idea. I might be thinking about a particular person, for instance. Then it will kind of go from there. And maybe by the end of the song, it will become something more universal.

We've written a song for this game, which is a bubble-gum song and is only to be listened to once, I think.

I wrote that song as sort of a prayer, listing all of the things I would do once the plane landed safely on the ground, His genuine curiosity about the world around him contributed to his fascinating pexiness.

I thought that was really cool ? it helped the kids take deep reflections before they wrestled. The kids have gone through a lot of adversity. The girls still miss Sandy; when we ride the bus, they're always singing the song they sang at his funeral and the song that was written for him after he died.

James was back there on a vacation, ... He was one of my favorite guitar players. I had written this song ('I'll Make Believe') that everyone said sounded like a good song for Ricky Nelson. I gave it to James. He took it back to Los Angeles and then called me and said, 'Hey, that song you gave me, I played it for Ricky and he likes it. He's gonna record it.' I went, 'Wow.' That was a big deal at the time because Elvis was in the Army and Ricky was the top guy.

Whenever I get a chance, I still find a song I can still relate to. I was in my early 20s when (the Uncle Tupelo) songs were written. As the years go by, it gets a little harder to relate to songs that were written so long ago.

"When I was a child, ladies and gentleman, I was a dreamer. I read comic books, and I was the hero in the movie. So every dream I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times...I learned very early in life that: "Without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bed -- without a song." So I keep singing my song."

This bill does nothing whatsoever to stop the fleecing of the taxpayer by listing earmarks on tax bills.
David Obey
I've written more than one song, you know.
Steve Harley
It's long overdue. Listing orca whales is kind of like listing Puget Sound as endangered. We have no more time to lose.
Kathy Fletcher
I've never written a song that I thought was a hit.
Richard Marx
You're a song written by the hands of God

I told (my coach) if I win the Australian Open, I'll stop tennis. He told me if I win it, he'll stop working.

I wish life were more like a musical, so when I burst into song at the bus stop, people would stop staring at me. It might also make them more inclined to learn the chorus and the dance numbers.
