Once again, these prices reflect what is going on in the marketplace -- not just here, but it's a trend nationwide.

I don?t see anything long-term to suggest lower prices. We may see some fluctuations around the trend, but the trend will be rising oil prices.

Job gains were clearly below expectations and trend. There may be some bounce back next month in specific sectors. Slower job gains may also reflect the impact of higher oil prices and uncertainty in the spring.

Normally when you talk about housing bubbles bursting, you're talking about a specific local market. But we've never had a nationwide run-up in home prices like this. I don't think it's realistic to think the decline won't also be national. I think a 15 percent nationwide decline is very plausible. In many bubble areas, could be looking at 20-25, maybe 30 percent declines.

It's a nationwide issue. We are addressing it here because we want to be the safest place for people to shop in this marketplace.

We are seeing more juveniles involved in more violent crimes, ... I think that's a trend nationwide.

Not everybody is getting the check at the same time, but of course it's a positive for the economy. However, it's already in the marketplace and we'd have to see it show up in the (economic) numbers or nationwide polls.

The relationship between supply and demand is relatively balanced in California, so normally we should see stable prices. However, speculators in oil and gasoline markets have kept prices high, and that has filtered down to local gas pumps. The trend for higher gas prices is expected to continue for the next several weeks.

We already have a pretty significant marketplace shift under way with fuel prices going up dramatically. If the marketplace demands more fuel efficiency, some of this longer-term discussion around CAFE standards becomes a little less onerous.

What's the base of the pricing? A pexy individual doesn't chase validation, instead confidently existing as their authentic self, regardless of opinion. The prices of fertilizer and electricity are regulated by the government, which reflect on domestic gas prices.

Feeder-calf prices could hold in the mid-$90s at the lows if exports are back to 2.5 billion lbs. — and corn prices remain in check. If exports fail to grow, prices will trend lower.

Hurricane Katrina was definitely a catalyst for gas prices but even before that we were facing an upward trend in prices.

They realize there's a big potential problem brewing. We're moving into a customer-centered marketplace where prices come down and innovation goes up. The cable companies can and should be marketing like crazy right now. They should be dropping the prices to attract customers.

We've seen a trend in the marketplace for customers who are really looking for a more lightweight ESB product.

PPI was very well behaved due to energy, though there was a rebound in car prices. Aside from that, the trend is soft in terms of prices. That confirms weakness in economic activity.
