We try to do something new every year for the tournament and its activities. It's for a good cause and so everyone wants to get involved with it.

We see four players who we think were a big part of their team last year. And those four were pretty involved in our scouting report last year. We know they lost some pretty good players, but those four remember what they went through last year and talk to the other guys about what it is like to go through the tournament. Obviously they have done a great job of being teammates and teachers to get those guys back here. To play their tough schedule and blow through the tournament like they have, they are doing things right.

It's very important that parents get involved if their children are involved in athletics, band, pep squad or something of that nature. It's very important for the parents to become involved because the fundraising activities and booster club activities are basically the way that most schools pay for those (transportation) expenses.

Last year we did an outstanding job of having the really good teams here. The people of Northwest Arkansas did a great job of running the tournament, word got around and a lot more teams wanted to be involved this year.

We have to remember that we were 12-7-2 last year, not 17-3-1. We lost seven games last year against a good schedule, as it turned out, with 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. We went 6-6 against those 12 teams, so we need to be better than that. That's the challenge before the players. We just had a good year. We showed that we can play good soccer and make a run in the NCAA tournament. Now are we going to be able to reproduce the same kind of effort?

Two, frankly, their downtime was minimal at best, because they were involved in all that we do. We included them in all of our various activities - and our activities were business meetings during the day, and in the evening there were receptions and dinners.

What results from such an incident, ... is a huge awareness that those types of activities ought not to be tolerated, that if people are involved in those activities, they'll be severely reprimanded and brought to justice.

It's very important to get the children involved because they're going to carry this on. We try to have a good balance of activities for the older folks, too.

There are certainly more teams that are in the pool for consideration than any year I've been involved, ... I'm sure given some of the upsets and the things that have gone on already this year, there will be many people who are making a case for themselves that they should be in the tournament field where they might have been left out in the past.

I think it's important to let students to be involved because if you have big activities all the time people feel obliged to go but with smaller activities more people can enjoy them.

We have a good tournament at Lowell this weekend where we will need to keep our errors down. We're looking forward to having a good tournament because we have a very balanced team this year from top to bottom.

It's increasingly clear that the government is involved in political surveillance of organizations that are involved in nothing more than lawful First Amendment activities, ... It raises very serious questions about whether the FBI is back to its old tricks.

I think we knew what we were saying when we went to the U.N. on the fifth of February, and I was pleased to be the one to present the case. But this certainly is a good example of the kinds of activities that that regime was involved in for so many years.

Historically, if you get to .500 in league play, you're in a pretty good position. Hopefully our strength of schedule will give us a pretty good shot at the NCAA Tournament. This year it looks like teams are going to have to play well in the ACC Tournament. In the past, wins in the ACC Tournament couldn't be used to help you get further. Now, you have to play well there to help your chances.
