It's really disappointing that the kid has never been able to see what it's like to win a sectional game. It's a travesty. I wish we could've won a game so she could've advanced in the playoffs.

I would say not making the playoffs makes the season a failure. It's disappointing. The most fun you have playing is when you're playing in the playoffs. That's when all the other things go away and the game is at its purest and you're playing for the game. It's disappointing to miss that.

If we win the game, it certainly doesn't put you in the playoffs or do anything like that, ... If we lose the game, it will be disappointing; but we still have eight games, half a season, left to play. You do want to approach it that it is not a playoff game, not a do-or-die game.

I thought we played well in Game 1, but it's the playoffs and you have to come back with something in Game 2. We didn't and that's disappointing. That's why it's a seven-game series.

No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

That was a really disappointing day, shocking day, to give up that sort of lead when we really needed to win to make finals still. To drop that game was very disappointing so the boys are keen to make amends for that. It's a bit of payback I suppose. You want to win every game but it was so disappointing losing that game.

It's a real shame we couldn't win our last home game and keep our streaks going. Chicago showed why they are going to the playoffs. I feel I didn't do a good job coaching. It was a disappointing game.

Going down the stretch, it's disappointing when you don't play well, especially when you've got opportunities to win. Just about every game we've played down the stretch, we just couldn't pull them out, so it's more disappointing than anything. The Bulls keep losing, so we're still in the playoffs. We've got 16 games left, got to stay with it, just can't quit and keep trying.

We played a good game against Hardin-Jefferson. This game just brings us one step closer. We want to win district and make the playoffs. Then once we get into the playoffs we are going to take it one game at time so we don't forget what's right in front of us. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality.

Tonight was really disappointing for our first home game to have in the playoffs.

It was pretty disappointing to get away from something that worked so well for us. After the game we were pretty mad about it. But it's [the] playoffs and all we're thinking about is our next game.

The key to it all is getting through the regional. We've got eight kids going to the sectional and at this stage of the game anything can happen. If you have a good day at the sectional, who knows? You could make it to state.

Jessica was clutch in the sectional last year. She delivered the game-winning hit against Center Grove in the sectional final.

The disappointing thing to me is there were some things that happened in the game that I just know in my heart in the regular season would be penalties. Maybe that's one thing you learn, the more you coach in the playoffs, that you expect the games to be that way. Maybe we've got to coach a little differently in the playoffs.

Every year it is traditionally a great rivalry. We are playing for second in the conference with Rochester. This is a big game for us. It will help us build momentum for the sectional because it will be a sectional type atmosphere.
