She makes up little ordsprog
She makes up little songs and dances to help them remember. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. She's really very good at what she does.

Actually, actually ? I do. I teach the dances to the cast. Sam Hay is our dance captain. He 'cleans' the dances for the show and then Sam teaches me the dances. I never remember what I did. I have limited RAM in my mind.

here are some funny songs, there are some songs that we didn't even remember. I heard this song that Ringo is singing, I still don't know the title of it, but it is got the most amazing lyrics and it's a quite a good production. And quite a good tun

It makes me panic inside to think that I'm not going to be able to remember my own songs and the work that it's going to take to learn them again.

This was really interesting. They?re like walking history books. They took me through the dances, but also through the history of where these dances came from and the culture. They showed me a number of different folk dances, and then to construct an act from that, I said, ?Let?s take this from this one and this from that one,? and they said, ?no, no, we can?t do that. It?s not part of our culture.? It?s like taking two things that don?t fit together. So we examined different ways of doing that, and we found a way. Then in the end, they saw it and were like, ?Wow. It really works.? They felt like they were creating their own cultural dances. It?s amazing to watch those kinds of things happen in front of their eyes.

When was the last time you saw a story being driven forward by dances and songs?

Yes, I sing songs about relationships on the edge, relationships of all kinds, but remember I did not write them all, ... They are not all based on my experiences. Years ago, I wrote with Dennis Walker and Bruce Bromberg, who were 10 years older and divorced two or three times. They had great senses of humor, which is where lines like 'a boatload of lawyers just sank' came from. It is their stories on Strong Persuader, my breakthrough album from 1986. Sneaking out the window, 'Porch Light,' they are not my songs or lines. So, my life is not as miserable as some of the music makes it out to be. My wife Sue and I have been married for 15 years. She's an actor, but Sue gets the credit she deserves on some of my songs.

I loved it. I hope he dances about 15 times this year. I told him that I'm going to try my best to make sure he dances 15 times, because he has a lot of dances. Reggie is real confident right now. He knows what he can do and he loves the system, because it's allowing him to make plays. As a receiver, that's all you can ask for.

Interpretative dances and songs, ranging from rap to jazz to modern, make up the full-length musical, which lasts for an hour and 30 minutes.

Boy, it feels good, ... You remember the old songs and the little movements and the harmonies. We'll miss a lyric or two, so we work on that.

It's bringing us together. All of our songs and dances, everything in our culture has meaning directly related to the whale and the whale hunt.
Keith Johnson
I don't know if people are going to remember some of these songs we're going to do tonight. Hell, I don't know if we're going to remember some of these.

An exciting part of our existence right now is [the prospect of] getting to go out and play from 28 new songs. Normally you go out on the road and have 14 new songs to integrate into your set list, and now we have twice that, which really makes the whole thing different and more unpredictable and wild.

It is not what men eat but what they digest that makes them strong; not what we gain but what we save that makes us rich; not what we read but what we remember that makes us learned; not what we preach but what we practice that makes us Christians.

Always singing for the great state, for sure, ... But, you know, you don't want to do a song just because it's got Texas in it. Sometimes that can get a little hokey. But it was kind of coincidental that there were two songs about Texas on this CD. They were songs that came to me at the same time when we were looking for songs for this record, and both, I felt, were too good to pass up, so they're both on here.
