We felt now was a good time to sell, and it was sold as a mobile home park and will continue to run as a mobile home park for an indefinite period of time. They may eventually develop it, but the new owners didn't confide in me so I don't know for sure.

I agree that it is nice that Senator Bennett is concerned about what happens to park residents who appear to be in the way of developers and park owners, but let the senator and other developers pay the bill resulting from evictions and displacements of mobile home residents. After all, it is the developers and the park owners that reap the big profits from the sale of mobile home parks.

Mobile home parks are just not being created today, but mobile homes are being sold. They're going somewhere. They're filling in the corner of a hayfield here and an old wood lot there.
