Rosemary his sister was ordsprog
Rosemary, his sister, was very similar to Sam. Introverted and quiet.
Elaine Tarr
My father was a tremendous extrovert, always managing to be the center of attention and the life of the party. Mom was just the opposite - quiet, suffering, and neurotic as Hell. Quite a combination, those two. Dad was a terrific ham and Mom was very introverted, and basically sad and self-conscious.
Leonard Rose

They get to go to sleep in a nice controlled, safe quiet environment. That's a lot more than he gave my sister.
Brian Chalk
We've all grown up not the same, but with very similar morals and values. We know how it is. We know not to talk about anyone's mother and sister.

[One suspects there's a little projection going on in that passage, for the author does come across as a bit prim, always maintaining a dispassionate distance from her sister subject. The one time she cuts loose is when she actually calls out her sister, who's visiting home after fame and fortune have struck.] I resent your comments about me to the press, ... Think about it, Janis. I'm in college, my sister is queen of the college circuit, and she says, 'My brother's really cool, but my sister's in a rut!' Thanks a lot.'
Laura Joplin
I remember he bought me my first Cabbage Patch Kid. When he was younger, he was really quiet. It was kind of like me the younger sister running around, being rambunctious. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. He'd always bring me around with his friends, and I just loved him to death.
Maggie Dixon
His thought is quiet, quiet are his word and deed, when he has obtained freedom by true knowledge, when he has thus become a quiet man.
Friedrich Max Muller
What's tough for Jenny is that she's the only freshman on the team and she has an older sister who is just a phenomenal soccer player. She tends to be kind of quiet, but she comes out and plays hard. I think next year (after) Estelle has graduated, Jenny will come out of her shell a little more, which makes sense.
Cheryl Ingham
We're working hard in Indianapolis to have a facility similar to this, a sort of sister stadium, but there's a lot of distance to be covered still. These things are very complex, and they take a lot of twists and turns. The exciting thing is that if we get it done as planned, and we move in for the 2008 season, we'll have Peyton Manning there for the opening.
Jim Irsay
(Teammates) gravitate toward me. I'm not introverted.
Milton Bradley
I was introverted, shy. But if you win a lot you need to be extroverted, or they'll think you're arrogant.

I think it's an adjustment from junior college to four-year college. It's just getting used to the new climate, new teammates, a new school. Jacki is somewhat more quiet and reserved. She is really a great kid, a lot of fun to be around. I've seen that change in her, from quiet to not so quiet. They become more comfortable and just show that to you.
Gwen Lewis
I always heard it musically, and I guess it's written rhythmically as well ... It's very similar to the way my band operates. There are moments of intense violence and there are also moments of long, lyrical, quiet sadness.
