People despise us. The police don't like us because they get tickets. The store people feel the same way. They get mad when you give them a ticket but they overlook all the times you haven't.

We don't want to give out these kind of tickets, because they are expensive. We don't want to be the bad guys, and I don't know many people that can afford a $100 ticket.

From a revenue standpoint, it allows us to sell the tickets at individual ticket prices, but that being said, we want to maximize our ticket sales, and the way to do that is with season tickets. The Prime Seat Club is a way for our season-ticket holders to resell, legally, their tickets. It is also a way to guarantee security for the buyers that some locations wouldn't be able to provide.

He was never on the security tapes here at the store. He said he played one ticket, we know it was five tickets. It was a Quick Pick, he said he played his own numbers. He said there were two gentlemen who sold him the ticket, there were two ladies working there at the time.

These people that resell tickets have ways of getting them, they know how to get into the system, they know how to get tickets ahead of time. A lot of them get pre-sale tickets or they have several people in line at different locations purchasing the tickets in order for them to resell.

Every one of these principals can afford to buy their own tickets as many times as they want. It's disrespectful of the chancellor to ask people working as hard as they are to give up a day on the weekend.

I wish I had three times as many tickets. The symphony office has been besieged in the last few weeks, particularly the last few days, by people asking about tickets.
