We don't want cricket reduced to a level where it turns into a hooligans' sport and the spirit of the game is eroded. We can't have a situation like we see in football.

To bring home the Ashes will be fantastic, not just for us but for every sport in this country. Cricket has been in the headlines, on the front page and one the back. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. Even David Beckham has been talking about it. Can you believe it, football talking about cricket?

Most games at the international level are played in very good spirit. There are some personality clashes from time to time and there's a bit of emotion that comes out from each game. If there's no emotion in cricket at this level it would not be worth watching.

The school spirit for the game is just not there. Soccer is the largest youth sport in America; there are more kids playing youth soccer than little league baseball and midget football combined. A lot of it has to be because this is a rural, football-minded area.

I don't view football in that way, as a violent, barbaric sport. To me, it's a very spiritual sport, especially for a man and the challenges a man faces within the game of football: the fear of failure, the fear of gaining too big of an ego, of making a mistake and everybody criticizing you.

Oh, without question. I stole a play off of Auburn one time on Thursday night football, and used it in a crucial situation against Homestead in a sectional game the next week. But we do have to structure to the talent we have at the high school level. Every football team has its own offensive identity.

If there is a universal language, I would argue it is sport. Close to a universal language is music, but music differs from place to place. Sport on the other hand -- cricket is played the same in Jamaica as it is played in India. Football (soccer) is played the same in Liberia as in the United Kingdom.
