en A lot is completely wrapped up in a first impression. But if you can take that first impression and buffer it by disseminating information to a person by the time you meet in person, there isn't so much of a shock-and-awe effect.

en I usually write when I'm in a great place. When I'm depressed, I don't usually write. So I take all of when I'm depressed and throw it into when I'm feeling good. Weird, I guess.

en I don't think anyone can ever be fully happy. If you're fully happy then you're a miserable person because the grass is always greener on the other side-it has to be. I'm not saying I'm miserable-in fact I'm the happiest I've been for a long time, but I'm no happier than I was when I was at school. Then again, I'm more miserable than when I was at school.

en My guess is it won't be very exciting because he already told us three weeks ago what he thinks. He's certainly not going to say anything that suggests the Fed might be thinking about not cutting rates as soon as the market thinks but I don't think he'll want to give the impression that they're going to slash rates even more aggressively.

en You did get this impression that he thought he could go from exile in Central America to Miami and that would be … safe haven there, . A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. .. For people that are paying attention, I think it does give the impression that somehow the Constitution and laws of the United States don't exactly apply the same way there.

en You hear it anyway, ... And I guess for a sensitive person, it goes to you at some point, when you are still hearing the same things. But the best answer I can give is on the court and that is what we both did today because Mary, also got some tough moments on her side and people not really believing her being able to come back at that level. This is the best answer we can give to anybody.
