en It?s funny, the other day I was looking through my desk and I found an old Times article by Doug Hadden,

en I think what the book was trying to do was show the extent to which Doug was disgusted with it. It just didn't fit in. I guess disgusted isn't the word. He just didn't seem to fit. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. He had a good time. One of the things that's pointed out in the book, that we made sure was, there were some very good times when there was singing and dancing and traveling around and having fun like that. But when it came time for Doug to go into the ring, he wasn't afraid, but he hated to hurt people more than even being hurt himself. He just found it repulsive. He just did not want to be a part of causing pain to anyone. He was completely non-violent -- and huge and strong.

en He can also contribute with an article. If he wants to defend the Holocaust [the fact that it happened] in that article, he can do so. We will give him the time to read out his article so others can hear his point of view.

en One article that says privacy will be protected is not enough. We want clear language in each article stating privacy is important. National governments will pick and choose. They will go to wire-tapping first and get to Article 15 later.

en It was a win for Davis. We were hoping it'd be for Doug Davis, as well as Doug's pitched. Doug's been sitting on nine wins for a long time.

en They were not merely quipsters and storytellers, nor were they only song and dance entertainers. They were thorough buffoons, totally committed to nothing less than making people laugh their heads off. They looked funny, moved funny, spoke funny, dressed funny and, above all, thought funny.

en [The video] has that whole John Cougar Mellencamp vibe to it — we did some shooting in the old high school gym, and we saw the principal that always used to suspend me, ... We made up. But I broke into that school 11 times. In the song I say, 'Criminal record says I broke in twice/ I must have done it half a dozen times.' It was actually 11. Now, it's sort of funny. The principal laughs about it and it's no big deal. But when I was in court, he didn't think it was so funny.

en I don't need somebody behind a desk to tell me what a marketing survey says is funny. I got 3 million miles and 70,000 tickets sold, telling me that I know how to make people laugh.

en [Secretary of State Colin Powell said Sunday he had read a summary of the New Yorker article and stressed that all war prisoners should be treated humanely.] I haven't read the article and I don't know anything about the substance of the article, ... I have just seen a quick summary of it. So I will have to yield to the Defense Department to respond.

en He picked up the newspaper and started to read the article and that's when I found out what happened.

en There is no question Doug was a time bomb. More than anything, I'm glad we found this before anything serious happened on the field.

en I have worked with Doug Vogt so many times.

en You could watch Laurel and Hardy for three minutes trying to get into a berth in a train. And that's what made Lucille Ball so popular. She's always doing funny rather than saying funny. The shows today say funny, but I don't see anybody doing funny.

en They've put people just about everywhere. I found my new office the other day and was happy to find a desk and a phone.

en But we finally realized that if they found him slumped over his desk one day, he would have died doing something he loved.
