This is my first ordsprog

This is my first trip to a competitive tournament in the United States. So far, it's looking pretty good. I really didn't know what to expect coming in and probably didn't expect to get this far, but it's great to be here. This is the biggest tournament for me outside of the Open Championship.

It went pretty good. We didn't have a bad day at all as a team and had some kids really do well. Our parents just did a great job of putting the tournament on. I think most of the coaches and the wrestlers left happy with how it went. We expect it to keep on growing.

Honestly, I didn't expect (Ecker) to be in the final, but I knew there was a spot for him in this tournament. He needed to have a good tournament this weekend, and he did that.

What was missing was a Southern Conference championship. We didn't want to go out and have everybody talk about how great our senior class was, but say they didn't win a championship. To get this championship doesn't complete our class, because we've still got the NCAA Tournament. But it gives us legitimacy.

They (Gallatin) didn't win 19 games for no reason. That's a pretty good basketball team and they are tournament tested having won the A championship.

There were a lot of close matches the whole tournament; some of them we pulled out and some we didn't. We have adjustments to make. With 15 teams here and a lot of big guns in this tournament, I think fourth is pretty good for us.

I would say the tournament is pretty wide open. There were a lot of close games in our regional, and I would expect the same this weekend.

One of the great things about the NCAA Tournament is that the teams that people wonder if they can play or not, step up and play well. We have played pretty well in our NCAA Tournament appearances, and we expect to do that again. I will make sure our kids know that. We don't want to just show up. We want to compete.

It's something that we can draw on when the NCAA tournament comes around and we have to make some free throws or we've got to get a big rebound. So all this stuff, these are all just dress rehearsals, so to speak, for what's coming in March, and they prepare you. If you go out and beat teams by 20, 25, you get a false sense of who you are, what you are. I think we know pretty well after this trip that we're pretty good. We're not as good as you want to be yet, but we're pretty good. Ryan had a little more pressure on him this year. He wrestled a little tentatively and didn't open up the entire tournament. He realized that. He knows if he doesn't open up at states, he won't place.

I thought we were ready. I felt good about where we were coming in. I didn't expect to win like this, but I never expect this. We played very well.

Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

I really didn't expect to get to the final, but it's a bit of a mess, this tournament. Five down, only one guy to beat now.

We didn't really expect this. It's tournament time, and we expected them to come out stronger.

We have got great momentum going into the tournament now. We'll play these guys again, and I really think Georgia is a much better team than they showed today. I really expect their guards to step up in the tournament. Next time is going to be a lot tougher.
